When the weather takes a turn for the worst on Cape Cod and frigid winter temperatures accompanied with snow grip the Cape area problems can arise. Malfunctioning heating systems, car trouble, dangerous road conditions and snow load on your roof. Snow load can be explained like this the weight of amount of snow that has accumulated on your roof. How do you know how much is too much, well you don’t know it depends on the structural design and integrity of the building as well as the density of the snow witch changes with the temperature. Some other factors include the pitch of the roof is it a flat roof or are the roof rafters spaced properly. On Cape Cod or in Falmouth, Branstable, Orleans, Provincetown, or in Sandwich roof shoveling can be needed. I do know this too much snow on a roof is no good.
