Our expert team is ready to assist you with any questions about the FAFSA. Open to the whole community — current students, prospective students, and anyone no matter what college they are planning on attending.
Ongoing help with FAFSA, Michigan Reconnect and any financial aid concerns:
Quick Start: 4–7 p.m., one Monday a month at the Timothy J. Nelson Innovation Center on 澳门赌场's Front Street Campus

FAFSA Fridays: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., every Friday through November. MCAN Specialists are available to help complete the 2024–25 FAFSA at the Enrollment Services Office in the Tanis Building.
Walk-ins are welcome. If we can’t see you right away, we’ll gladly help you schedule an appointment.
Complete the New FAFSA
How to Prepare:
- Review who is considered the FAFSA contributor.
- The FAFSA contributor should create an FSA ID 3–5 days prior to completing the FAFSA.
- We strongly recommend you and your contributor(s) create an account on studentaid.gov before starting your FAFSA form.

- Student loan counseling
Make sure you have:
- Records of child support received
- Current balances of cash, savings, and checking accounts
- Net worth of investments, businesses, and farms
- Social security cards and driver's licenses
- Digital or paper copy of your 2023 tax return*
*You'll be able to provide consent and approval to have most of your financial information imported directly from the IRS, but you should keep your tax returns handy for additional questions.
NOTE: If you are considered a dependent student for FAFSA purposes, you’ll need to provide information about your contributor(s) on the application. Learn more about reporting contributor information here.
